Yee-Haa [11 Jul 2004|05:46pm] [ mood | sneezy ] [ music | MU330 - Got Cought ] today i've started stage one of my ultimate plan of doom room. here's the sketches: (the "good" one is what my room will be like at the end of summer) i haven't done much, and my room is way smaller and more crowded than the drawings make it seem, but a bookshelf deely-thing in the closet which had clutter on it is now gone (will be in a few minutes), so i will be able to move my bed in a day or two when i buy the new chest of drawers. 1 comment|post comment

Looks like the web hit the fan [09 Jul 2004|11:26pm] [ mood | tired ] [ music | R.E.M. - Imitation Of Life ] I saw Spiderman 2 today at the Uptown, and got the bargain matinee price too. It was a good movie, but the way the ending was left open for countless sequels kinda annoyed me. I guess the "original" comic book storyline would have been very long... meh. Later, I discovered that there's now a Mac version of this awesome flash game called Madness Interactive. So yeah. Fun. R.E.M. is all playing up in my stereo 2 comments|post comment

Money in Food [08 Jul 2004|09:02pm] [ mood | artistic ] [ music | Green Day - Coming Clean ] Argh! Something went wrong, and what I just wrote didn't get posted! Ok, well today I bought a SmarTrip ® card, which is a permanent metro card that doesn't need to be put into a machine, and can have money added online. Unfortunately I spent all of my money on this, and had to find my dad more some lunch money. Nick has been violently opposed to smartcards, yet his slowness has made us miss two trains now, two days in a row. We're not waiting for him anymore. Finally, as some of you know, I've been hicking it up in the "community garden" lately. My cucumbers are completely insane, and last Saturday I picked 33. Ugh. I need to harvest more tomorrow.
